I did not get what I wanted from Julie Solomon's "Get What You Want"。This "empowering guide for women" was NOT an empowering guide for women。Instead， it was a 5-hour infomercial for Julie Solomon's paid online courses。Before listening to this book， I had never heard of Julie Solomon。 Even though I was unfamiliar with the author， her book's "Get What You Want" title was alluring。The author's rags-to-riches story， too， was also very intriguing。 Unfortunately， there were no big reveals in "Get What I did not get what I wanted from Julie Solomon's "Get What You Want"。This "empowering guide for women" was NOT an empowering guide for women。Instead， it was a 5-hour infomercial for Julie Solomon's paid online courses。Before listening to this book， I had never heard of Julie Solomon。 Even though I was unfamiliar with the author， her book's "Get What You Want" title was alluring。The author's rags-to-riches story， too， was also very intriguing。 Unfortunately， there were no big reveals in "Get What You Want"。 The book was replete with glib generalities and brags about the accomplishments of the author and her coaching clients。 Few specific examples were given -- and these examples lacked the level of detail that I was seeking。I listened to the audiobook read by the author。 The author is a skilled presenter and she did an outstanding job with the narration。 。。。more
